Welcome to Texas Pride American Bulldogs.  My husband Tracy and I have been breeding American Bulldogs for four years and have learned so much about this wonderful breed. When I met Tracy, I had an Australian Shepherd and he had a Mastiff who did not get along near as well as Tracy and I did.  We placed my Aussie with some very close friends and the Mastiff eventually passed.  Tracy quickly found out I was a dog lover.  He liked "tough dogs" and I liked what he calls "biscuit dogs."  So we compromised and purchased our first American Bulldog.  I could not believe there was a breed of dog that would give you everything you wanted in one package.  Smart, loyal, protective, trustworthy, and loves kids!  Shortly after purchasing my first bulldog, I convinced Tracy we needed another, and another, which explains why I am here typing a paragraph for our About Us page of our website. 

After researching bloodlines and travelling to shows, we decided to focus solely on Johnson and Something Special bloodlines.  We have one amazing female from Mr. Johnson's kennel.  After having her as a part of our family for over two years I understand exactly how Mr. Johnson was so successful and appreciate what he did for the foundation of the American Bulldog breed.  I was introduced to the Something Special bloodlines through my male Lyken.  He is everything you could ask for in an American Bulldog.  He is loyal, friendly, protective and always eager to please.  He does have an addiction to basketballs that is so great we are currently considereing therapy (for me, not Lyken!). 

We work hard to raise healthy, socialized pups and take pride in doing so.  Therefore, we will not sell pups to anyone who has any intentions for the pup other than a family pet or breeding program.  NO PUPPY MILLS AND NO FIGHTING!!!
